Help with Sonos Connectivity

Problem Description: Trying to Browse subsonic as a music source in Sonos app returns 'unable to browse' error
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. restarted Subsonic service on PC
2. validated pc connection to NAS
3. loaded subsonic web ui (note: all music from the two shared folders was missing)
4. rescanned entire library (two NAS folders, one for classical, one for everything else)
5. music was then visible in web ui
6. checked sonos app on phone and PC and tried to browse subsonic library - message returned 'Unable to browse music'
7. changed the sonos library name in web ui to see if it fed through to sonos app, library name did change but still not able to browse (iphone, ipad,PC)
8. rebooted phone, PC, ipad (PC and NAS are fixed ip addresses)
9. tried sonos app on pc and phone still same problem 'unable to browse music'
10. checked subsonic UI can initiate play of music from PC - works fine
11. deleted subsonic service from Sonos
12. re-added subsonic service , re-entered username and passwords in Sonos app for subsonic service
13. what next?
Playback Application and version: (Sonos S1 on PC, Apple devices v11.2.4)
Subsonic Version: (6.1.6 (build 0cfa60) – November 10, 2019)
Server Version: (jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_152, HSQLDB, Windows 10 (85.4 MB / 145.0 MB))
Hardware Platform: (Windows10 version 1909 os build 18363.1256
Java Memory Limit: (Windows: found in the Subsonic Agent in the taskbar)
Problem Filename: (If you are having difficulty with a particular file, please include it's name)
Output from ffmpeg -i: (not sure if I have a missing prog here ffmpeg not recognised)

I don't think I can help very much but, did you make a dedicated user for Sonos and if so, does this user have access to the library folders?

I'm having the exact same issue. It looks as if the Sonos app doesn't accept the Subsonic service any longer.
For me it started a couple of months ago and then I could re-enable it by going to the settings of Subsonic and reactivating the Sonos service.
Last week I had to add the Service to the Sonos app again, and today I removed all the Subsonic services (3) that were present in the Music Services in the Sonos app (in both Windows and on iPhone), none of them working any longer and re-adding a 'new' Subsonic service to the app, but alas, to no avail.
