Hi Folks,
Just discovered SubSonic and quite excited to use it for me and my friends. We are have been recording live concerts for 30 - 40 years and are in the process of moving our archives to a seedbox for ease of access, ability to share with others, and since I discovered SubSonic, the ability to stream wherever we are.
My seedbox provider had a direct SubSonic install feature, so I assumed it would be a breeze setting it up. However, I keep running into issues.
The first server setting that pops to configure says to port forward to 13000. Below that it says "No router found". As far as I know, with my seedbox provided I do not have any access to router settings and can't change them. Seems to make some sense to me I guess. But they are keep telling me Subsonic works just find and I don't need to change any router settings. However that is about as much as they will say. No details on how to get it up and running.
Anyway, anybody here get it up and running on a seedbox with no ability to access router settings? I really want to get this working because it seems absolutely perfect for the project we are trying to get going.
Thanks in advance, and if I can get this beast working I am happy to give an account to anyone who can help me (if live music recordings are of interest to you).
