Transcoding ogg files

Postby gaaza7 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 2:02 pm

Hi

I've just got a few ogg files in my collection, but when i try playng these files they don't play. I have checked the log, it seems the file gets converted to a wav file, then when the step 2 of the transcoding is used for lame, I get Warning: unsupported audio format. Here is what the log file says:-

2010-02-15 13:42:23,495] DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread - (/var/subsonic/transcode/oggdec) [ 99.5%]
[2010-02-15 13:42:23,495] DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread - (/var/subsonic/transcode/oggdec) [100.0%]
[2010-02-15 13:42:23,497] DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread - (/var/subsonic/transcode/lame) Warning: unsupported audio format

I have looked in the directory where the ogg file is located and I see the file has been converted to wav. Any ideas?

Hi

When playing the wav file which was converted, it plays but I get a another error in the log as follows:-

2010-02-15 15:35:52,847] DEBUG TranscodeInputStream - Starting transcoder: [/var/subsonic/transcode/lame] [-b] [128] [-S] [/music/3_doors_down/Seventeen Days/15-Let Me Go (Accoustic).wav] [-]
[2010-02-15 15:36:05,028] DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread - (/var/subsonic/transcode/lame) fatal error: can't update LAME-tag frame!

So the file seems to play as a wav without transcoding.
