Just outta curiosity I wonder if my Nokia E90 will work.

Also this is the second time I've seen that pie chart saying the Iphone has a dominating market share. I do have aquestion on this chart. Is this phones sold to end users or phones sold to carriers?

Instead of wasting all of your time in this thread, just get Simplify for your iPhone. I use Subsonic for my computer, but Simplify does the same thing on my iPhone. Love the Subsonic....

Hi

I bought your app from Apple app Store, but I can not configure it to connect to my server.

My server is reachable by http://(web name):8888/subsonic

How can I configure the Z-Subsonic ?

Thanks

Note: by the way... I tried to mail to helpdesk@z-subsonic.com, but the mail was returned as "undeliverable"

1.) The mail server problem has been fixed

2.) The problem is the fact that your Subsonic is not at the server root i.e. the server context is "/subsonic" and not at "/". I will post an update to address this issue but the update may not get approved by Apple until next week. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Server URL

An updated version that lets you specify the entire URL of the server in the form:

http://[server address]:[port][server context]

has been sent to Apple for approval. Going by how fast the initial release was approved hopefully this should be live by mid next week.

Neat! How are the songs being streamed, ie what determines what bitrate the songs will stream at?

The bitrate is determined on the server, based on the bitrate limit the administrator sets for the player created by Z-Subsonic.

Fantastic app!
I had to deploy subsonic to the root of my server (in tomcat) to get this version to work, couldn't wait for the updated one. Functions very nice!
Elapsed time of song does not always work nor does bitrate, (due to transcoding?) but everything else is well thought out and polished. It would be nice to have an equalizer but all in all it is a great app.
Thanks!
