Trouble getting any music to show up in browser/android

Hi!

I'm pretty new to subsonic I'm having trouble setting up the server. It looks like the server was able to find the files in my music directory, but it is having problems showing them in the middle pane/iframe and shows nothing on my android client. I can search for music and play it in the web browser and in the android client but I can not browse through "my music" (it doesn't show anything is there).

The music shows up in a list in the left pane. Nothing shows up in the middle frame when I click random. Newest has one album. Highest rated and most frequent also show nothing.

Any ideas on how to fix this ?

I found out what was wrong. I was not using subfolders for my music. I threw in some sub folders and I was able to navigate them.

Music in the /var/music/ root folder does not show up in 'my media' on the phone.
