Cover Art & iTunes / Default Cover Art Image

Postby ebstone » Wed Mar 17, 2010 2:57 am

Hey All,

Im brand new here. Just started using Subsonic and its awesome! Sindre is extremely helpful and has created a great program

I do have 2 questions for anyone who might be able to help. In advance it would be greatly appreciated.

1. I pointed Subsonic at my music folder and it did index all my artists perfectly. It did not recognize my cover art. I am using iTunes and I think its having trouble finding where the iTunes has its cover art located. Is anyone else using an iTunes library and able to get the cover art displayed in Subsonic?

2. Can anyone tell me where the default black and white images that Subsonic generates for albums without cover art is located?

Thanks all and have a great day!

subsonic looks for one cover per folder, so it expects albums in separate folders with one cover. also, you can specify the filenames for covers under settings (as admin). embedded covers in music files will also be found.

about the path to the default cover, for 3.9 its
Code: Select all
subsonic/jetty/1335/webapp/WEB-INF/classes/net/sourceforge/subsonic/controller/default_cover.png

i think it would be best to keep the size and format, but i havent tried, just replaced the image with one with the same size.
