Anyone figure out how to clear the chat yet?

I understand that it clears after 7 days, or a system restart.

Any other options found by anyone? Does anyone know where the 7 days setting is and how to modify it perhaps? Or it might be stored in a DB table somewhere that could be cleared manually with a SQL command.

I hate to have to remove the chat function manually if I can make it work for me.

You can just restart subsonic, there is no need to restart the computer. I don't know if this helps...

restarting subsonic doesn't clear the chat for me.

Why couldn't we just have an option in the admin settings to define an "expire" time for chat messages?
