Can't Connect on Mac OS or Linux

Postby xANTIx » Sun Mar 21, 2010 10:44 pm

Hey I'm running Subsonic on my Android phone and I'm trying to connect to either my Macbook or my Linux Desktop.

I'm not sure what the issue is really, I am able to connect to the demo server from my phone so I know that's not the issue. I am also able to connect to my Macbook, but only when I'm connected to my home WiFi connection but no over 3G even with full bars. And I can't connect at all to my Linux box. I know I have the ports forwarded too.

Any ideas?...

i have i similar problem with a server on pc connected to the internet over umts. after researching, i found out that my isp has a internal NAT running that prevents my users from reaching the server. they would only be able to reach me if i nitiate the connection, which would be quite unpractical and defeat the point of running a server^^ maybe related to your problem.

Maybe, but I've done other things like this before. Also I just tried using Gmote over the internet which I had set up and working just the other day, and it won't work over the internet now either.
