Actually I get the same error-message after upgrading to Subsonic 4.3 on
my Ubuntu server (Ubuntu Lucid 10.04.1)
Javaversion is:
root@vmserver:/var/subsonic# java -version
java version "1.6.0_20"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.4) (6b20-1.9.4-0ubuntu1~10.04.1)
OpenJDK Client VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode, sharing)

When checking the subsonic.war, I can't find anything wrong with it:
root@vmserver:/usr/share/subsonic# unzip -t subsonic.war
.......
No errors detected in compressed data of subsonic.war.

I get this error in /var/subsonic/subsonic_sh.log:
Code: Select all

Cleaned the disk and reloaded all the software on my pc, now it works. Not sure what the problem was, but its fixed. Problem now is getting my key to re-activate the program, I just donated....and I don't have the email.

After I went through all this crap, I found this...

http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtop ... ce+license

I was actually looking for how to get my license back, but this guy found the problem. I hope this helps someone else.
