Subsonic cannot play wma files

For anyone who reads this with a similar problem. I installed MediaMonkey on my laptop, shared the music folder on my server with my laptop, added the network location to my library, then i did a bulk convert on all wma files to mp3s. It seems to be a DRM issue on the server, even though the cd was ripped on a vista machine using windows media player and copied to the server, it still acted as the files were encoded. Converting the exact same file on my laptop worked perfectly.
