Windows can not find subsonic

Yeah, installing as administer. I installed in xpmode and attempted to copy and paste the missing folder with no luck.

Copy and paste from where?

So lets recap

1. You have removed SS using Windows add/remove programs
2. You deleted the folder c:\subsonic hence no trace of SS on pc.
3. You then re-installed SS using latest V4.5 setup.exe running as an administrator.
4. The install creates the folder in X86 Program Files with the required subsonic-agent and services exe files.
5. It also creates the c:\subsonic folder but only containing the transcode sub-directory and nothing else
6. After install the control tray icon is not created and clicking on Run service in the start programs results in the missing url error.

Let us know if this correct and can you also check that you have Java installed ok
