Folder sort on left pane ... 4.7b2

Hi guys ...
a lil question ...

my data is stored accurately based upon the artist / group / band names and sorted alphabetically
each letter has its own directory, followed by the dir of the band, followed by the dir of the album / single name

in SS i put these folders to scan
A /var/media/A
B /var/media/B
C /var/media/C

etc ....

but i have a lot of stuff which i cannot sort under alphabetically order ....

so i just added somthing like

Live Sets /var/media/Sets
or even
Filme /var/media/movies
Serien /var/media/serien

unfortunately all the content of folders that where listed explizit at the bottomof the A - Z list are now mixed up and thrown to the other artists ....
is there a way to get the old sort function back ?

mmh meanwhile i discovered, that SS is sorting some stuff based upon ID3 tags .... gnarf thats bullshit ... i dont have time and motivation to correct all ID3 tags of all 2 TB files

One thing you could do, as those files are in their own folders, is to use shortcuts.
I do that for my compilation albums which are in a various artists folder.

If you do not have ID tags correct I suggest you go back to 4.6 which uses the directory structure

aaa thanks mate ... downgrading to 4.5 did also fix the problem with my podcasts ... now everything works fine again ...

For my miscellaneous sets I use folder names that are preceded with an underscore ( _ ). SS defaults to sort these to the bottom of the list but you can put them at the top by editing Settings> genera> Index. Just put _ at the front of the list.
