I have subsonic 4.7 beta 3 installed on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. The problem occured on 4.7 beta 2 and 4.6.
When I play a previously un-played song on my Android phone it gets to about 40 seconds and then restarts, most of my files are flac's. MP3's seem to get to about 30 seconds before the restart.
Playing via the web interface is fine.
Should I report as a bug or does someone know how to fix this?

So is no-one else having this problem? Developers... any comment? Made my donation but this is a bit of a downer.

Sounds like your connection bandwidth is smaller than will allow the current bitrate to download and play.
Try lowering the bitrate on the android client.

You might also download the speedtest.net app to get a read on your connection speeds.
You might also consider ogg transcoding which can deliver acceptable quality for mobil devices at speeds around 100kbps.

Thanks for the replies. The connection is a Wireless N router on the LAN to my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. I had a friend connect over the internet to my subsonic server last night using iSub on his iPhone and it did not experience the issue.
However I had a look through the forums and have found other users with the same issue.

If your phone is on ICS I'd suggest trying Dsub.
