Make Subsonic reload playlists?

Hi. Does Subsonic cache the playlists in the /var/playlists directory? I'm trying to use a cron job to convert my saved Quod Libet search queries (my dynamic playlists, in other words) into static m3u playlists that Subsonic can use, and also shuffle them since the Subsonic Android client can't shuffle a playlist before starting it. The script works; it works perfectly well, in fact. The only thing is that the playlist never changes when I open it on my phone. Does Subsonic cache the playlists or something? Is there any way I can force Subsonic to reload the playlists short of restarting it?

I think it would help if supplied which version of Subsonic you're using, since 4.7 differs quite a lot from 4.6 in the playlist handling.

Oh? I had no idea. I apologize. I'm on Subsonic 4.7 beta right now. Would 4.6 offer playlist handling more suited to my objectives?

Yes, 4.7 stores playlists in an internal database (after initially importing them from file), while 4.6 changes to playlists are immediate written back to file.
