Cannot access port 4040 at work looking for a work around
Posted: Fri Aug 31, 2012 12:39 pmProblem Description: Trying to access the subsonic server at work port 4040 blocked. Can access server from anywhere else.
Troubleshooting Steps: Tried to use the url function under networking and looked at config file to see if there was an option to change port 404 to another, 8080 would be the best choice for me here.
Playback Application and version: web interface over firefox.
Subsonic Version:4.6 (build2585)- december 6 2011
Server Version: jetty 6-1 x java 1.6.0_24 linux (42.3MB/74.4 MB
Hardware Platform: Ubuntu linux 12.04 kernel 3.2.0-29-generic-pae
Log files show nothing unusual as it never gets a connection, im just looking for a way to use a different port for subsonic other than 4040 like perhaps 8080
