Hi,

I have tried everything posted on the frorum for not connecting with my server with the andoid app. No success.

I can accessmy server over the web with the iphone app!

This is simply enoying, I today received my new asus pas, so I am not really an expert in using Android, but this is a pain.

The error message is "Connection failure.Illegal character in query at index 40

Please help!

Thx

Carsten

What is the username that you are using? Does it work in the web interface?

Got to http://canyouseeme.org and see if the Subsonic port is open.

This might also be due to a Java stack overflow condition:

I'd suggest stopping the Subsonic service then uninstalling all Java instances/upgrades on the server, then download and install the latest version of Java for your server. Restart Subsonic and see if you still have a problem.

Hi everybody,

reinstalling java did not help.

I solved the Problem though, don't use a space in the Username. I tried another account with a user name without a space. It worked.

Would have been nice to see this posted somewhere.
