Using subsonic as a Jukebox.

Postby Buck0wens » Thu Jan 17, 2008 2:01 am

First of all, thanks for programming this wonderful app Sindre ... it's just what I've been looking for.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to hide or disable the play buttons next to the songs. I'm using this app as a jukebox when I have parties and it works great but most new people using it select "play" instead of "add" when they want to que up a new song and then everyone else's qued songs get erased. Is there a way to either prevent the que from getting erased when someone plays a song or maybe just hide the play buttons?

Thanks again, :D

I know what you mean. I'm thinking of implementing a "party mode" (suggested in another post in the forum), with a simpler user interface.

That would be cool ... I'll just have to give everyone instructions until then. ... It's usually OK until everyone's been drinking a bit :). Thanks for the reply.

I guess via CSS there could be done a lot already. If you define a class for the buttons, so the picture could be changed.
The play-button obtains a width value of 0px and the add-button some big size and an attractive img ;-)
