Subsonic service keeps crashing

I have been having this issue on 4.6 for a long time and it is still doing it on 4.7. I have the memory limit bumped to 1536mb and does not seem to make any difference, as the highest I have ever seen it is at 200 something MB.

The log file is pretty non helpful, as the last line is something like this.
Code: Select all
[2012-10-02 09:21:01,480] DEBUG AudioScrobblerService - Successfully registered submission for song 'Wish You Never Met Me' for user n****g at Last.fm: Tue Oct 02 09:21:00 CDT 2012
[2012-10-02 09:21:13,680] DEBUG AudioScrobblerService - Successfully registered now playing for song 'Give Back My Life' for user n****g at Last.fm: Tue Oct 02 09:21:13 CDT 2012

I have tried deleting the subsonic folder, no avail.

If I dont have any users on the server it seems like it will keep running for a long time, my 'feeling' is that its something with the android clients. (I cant prove this in anyway)

It seems like it crashes randomly, not just doing a scan. The other day I was listening in the morning, left my desk and came back after about an hour and it was crashed. Only 2 users on at that time.

I am open for any suggestions possible...

The server is Server 2008R2 Standard, 4gb ram, 1.6ghz dual core cpu

otherinfo:
Code: Select all
Version   4.7 (build ${buildNumber}) – September 19, 2012
Server   jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_07, Windows Server 2008 R2 (56.0 MB / 136.9 MB)

Thanks,

Check Event Viewer and see if there are any clues there.
Have a close look for any network problems as flakey (out-dated) network drivers can cause issues.

I will take a look, however I should mention that this is a VMware virtual server, so it is using the 5.0 network drivers with that. I will check and see if I can find updated versions for them.

EDIT:

In digging through event viewer I noticed the subsonic service makes several log entries. One of which was telling me to restart my computer, which I did. I also disabled my VPN connection that is running on the server as well.

I noticed one event log that stated on the SS service startup was something about being an interactive service, which the resolve was disabling UAC, which I did.

I will see how things run now and post back if things have not changed.

Thanks for the help, I was unaware SS put events into the event viewer.
