Subsonic Forum

Hi guys,

I've moved my installation of subsonic to a new PC and now for some reason my albums are sorted in a strange way, not all of them by year but some are and most of them by folder name. Not sure if this is a bug or what but I have disabled the option to sort albums by year so something else could be wrong?

Would you guys be able to help me please?

I am seeing them same issue when i upgraded to 4.7. The new version completely jumbles all of my directories. Even when I uncheck the sort by year function it has no effect. I am not seeing any response to any of the threads about this problem. I might downgrade in order to fix it. It is very frustrating looking at folders that aren't in alphabetic order and I am not about to change my directory structure.

Please fix this.

Since Sindre (who's the only developer) hasn't given any official statement on this, I guess your options right now are going back to 4.6 where it worked, or use one of the mods posted here: viewforum.php?f=8 (MusicCabinet / Madsonic).

"Problems with alphabetic track sorting, see forum" is written down as one issue to be fixed in 4.8, but album sorting isn't mentioned.
