Trial Service?

I just downloaded the Android app and installed the PC side software. Everything is set up properly and I can stream music over WiFi in the house as well as over my 4G LTE connection. The only thing though is that it says server not licensed and I only have 30 days left when I play a song. This happens both on WiFi on my local network as well as when I'm on my LTE data connection. I don't understand why. I have DNS service setup and have my hostname:4040 setup which is working, so I don't get why it's saying it's not licensed. Will it still work after 30 days? I don't get why I'd have to essentially pay for DNS service through Subsonic to avoid having to remember an ever-changing IP and even though I already pay for DNS services at another company. What am I missing?
Thanks!

You're missing that this is Sindre's business model? You get 30 days to figure if you like and appreciate what he has created over the last five years something. Pretty fair hey?
If you like it, you either pay to keep using it, leave it, or hack it. But it won't work after 30 days, even though you paid somebody else for your computer, cell phone, internet access, DNS service etc.

Ahh, now I get it. Sorry. I thought that I was paying for the service to get a easy-to-remember name for connecting instead of having to connect via a changing WAN IP address. I understand now that the donation isn't for the DNS service, but the cost of having the app and using it for mobile streaming as well as funding Sindre's work. My apologies. $12 doesn't seem bad at all if the app can deliver. Looking forward to trying it out for the next month to see if it's as good as I've read.

Also not sure if this is a bug in the Android app or my setup, but while playing a song I received a phone call. The music paused like it should have, but upon hanging up, the music resumed playing through the earpiece instead of the speakerphone. Pausing the music and then playing again sent it back to the speakerphone. This was on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus running a custom 4.1.1 ROM.
