Hi,

I've been getting this error

HTTP ERROR: 404

NOT_FOUND
RequestURI=/

Powered by jetty://

I've been running a subsonic server for a little while on a dedicated server.
Server is running CentOS release 6.3 (Final) and is up to date.
Running subsonic 4.7

sub sonic seems to be running along ok in the background looking at the logs.

can see this error, dr google hasn't been any help finding out what this means.

There seems to have been a few people with this error but the forum posts have been removed or something?
I can't get to them either way.

I've tried a yum remove subsonic
and re-installed
even installed the previous version of subsonic, 4.6

no joy

Has anyone any ideas?

I'd say your index file (telling Subsonic 4.6 which music is in your library has been corrupted). I've seen that happen if you for instance have tags with an artist name containing new lines (it's enough if one file is weird like that).

You could try removing the index file to force a full new scan, it's called subsonic14.index, subsonic15.index or something like that. Don't remember exactly as I haven't used 4.6 for a long time.

i deleted any trace of anything from subonic and re-installed,
working again now,
downside i lost the user list.

other than that all is working ok.
and i'm back to 4.7
