Subsonic Forum

So I've seen a few other people with thumbnail problems, but none like this. They seem to be having problems with a lot of thumbnails, I'm only having problems with 2.

2 albums, on 2 different servers. The same 2 albums. I downloaded cover art for them through the Subsonic search, and every time those albums show up they have no thumbnail and this message is in the log:

WARN   CoverArtController   Failed to create thumbnail for /data/[user]/Media/iTunes/Music/Greevace/The Eye Sees All/cover.jpg

Like I said, same 2 albums, on 2 different servers.

Both are FreeBSD 9.0, Subsonic 4.7. One is running the standalone, and one is running under Tomcat 6.

Tried moving the album directories, rescanning, cleaning database, moving back, rescanning. Same thing.

Anybody got any ideas?

Replace the cover art, your java jpeg codec might just not handle them well.

I tried that, also tried embedding the art (downloaded a different file from the folder.jpg that I was using) into the files, too. No go.

Try the same procedure as when music isn't showing properly.

Settings - Music folders - uncheck all "Enabled" boxes - Save

Click "Scan media folders now"

Click "Clean-up database"

re-check "Enabled" boxes

rescan folders
