With 4.6 Google Image Search always worked immediately. Now with 4.7 I click 'Change' this is what I get:


When I click 'Search' it says 'Please wait' and no images ever come up.

Any ideas?

Nobody else is having this issue?

Mine's working just fine. You must have something blocking the request or a routing issue.

4.6 works great.
I did install madsonic, maybe that has something to do with it.

Definitely not something blocking the request, or routing issues though, since I can visit google images np from the page itself.

i also have a Madsonic site and it is OK as well.

Same problem here, running 4.6 (build 2583). It was working fine up until... oh, maybe a week ago.

I've noticed the problem only occurs when accessing via http://localhost. The problem does not affect anyone accessing via WAN.

Hate to bump old threads, but I'm getting this exact same issue. No mods or anything else installed, just a flat 4.7 build 3106. I've uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail.

Seriously though, I've had multiple Subsonic servers over the past 2 years, and on all of them I kept for more than a few months, eventually the image search stops working.

Very early on in 4.6 this worked, but it hasn't in a couple years. I just installed 5.1 (build 4340) on a new box and it still isn't working. Just hangs.

It's not a routing issue; I can get to google images just fine from the box from a browser.

Not sure about you guys, but for me it ended up being an ad blocking issue. I use(d) Ghostery, and it was preventing the frame from loading the images. Once I whitelisted my IP/domain, it worked again.

I recently installed that and didn't realize that could be the issue.
Glad it is "fixed".
I use this feature all the time.
