Subsonic Forum

hi there,

i installed subsonic on my home-server in march 2007 and it worked fine for almost a year. but the last time a few other users including me get an error since downloading a mp3-file mostly when its over 90% independent from the web-browser.
subsonic doesnt write a line in the logfile.

i reinstalled the last stable version today with the windowsinstaller but nothing changed.

does anybody had had similar problems or can help me?

You might try setting the logging to debug-level and check the logs after you experience the error.

Edit the file <tomcat_home>/webapps/subsonic/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.properties

Change the log-level
log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, A1

Restart tomcat

hmm, this path and file doesnt exist. im going to update java and will re-install tomcat and subsonic manually by hand.

i deinstalled the windows-installer-version of subsonic and installed everything new in its latest version instead of subsonic. subsonic is version 3.2 and it works fine.

i have to make more tests to see if the problem is solved or not.

after updating to version 3.3 i experienced the failures again but i noticed that everything works fine with ie and firefox without a downloadmanager. i think that "down them all" causes the problem and will have a look at it.
