I am unable to play subsonic on my mac any more,
and can't find the problem. :-(

Until a few weeks ago, i could click on subsonic play icons, automatically download .m3u playlist, and automatically play it with itunes.

Now, .m3u playlist is downloaded, and nothing happens, i cannot get itunes to play it.

My guess is that a recent update to either itunes, macosx or firefox is the source of the problem, but i can' find how to fix it.

Any ideas?

What is it doing and are you seeing anything in your log files? My guess is that you are trying to play a file that itunes does not understand.

It could be the problem is a bit simpler than that.
If Firefox only downloads the m3u it could mean that the default behavior for m3u-files has changed.
Check Firefox like this:
tools -> options -> content -> file types -> Manage.. -> write m3u in the search-bar and see what Firefox is set up to do.

It should say "Open with iTunes"

If it does say this it could be a problem with iTunes and you should try creating a test m3u-playlist and open it directly from iTunes to verify this.
