What have I done now?
Is there any way to tell subsonic my music has moved to a different drive so the playlists work? I see now i should of exported them before I moved the music, I thought it would just work when I set the new media location in the settings, how wrong i was. If there is no hope then i was wondering if moving it all back would help? what a nightmare, its funny but not all the playlist are totally empty so subsonic linked some of the moved music.

Has this been answered before or is it a tricky one?

Ok I am using:
4.7 (build 3106) – 12 September 2012
jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_09, Windows 7 (80.2 MB / 117.0 MB)
Windows 7 Ultimate.

Ive since seen a lot of un answered posts regarding playlist problems, Heres what I did exactly;
Created a new Partition, Moved music to new partition. Found it killed the Playlists, (this does make sense allthough I thought changing the path in settings would update the database :oops: ) Ive since moved the music back and that hasnt worked, i stopped and started the service.

I would just like some confirmation that ive totally cocked up and the playlists have gone?

If you're familiar with SQL, you could try and explore where and how playlists are stored via (yourserver)/db.view, and try to figure if there are any traces left to recover.

Personally, I don't use 4.7 so I can't really tell how it works (or doesn't work).

Thanks for the reply hakko, looks like i may have made a bad move updating the software then, not as bad as moving my music obviously! I tried your tip and its just an empty box so im guessing i have bad news for my friends...
