Subsonic Won't Stay Running

I am on Windows 7, I have Java 7.9 installed, and Subsonic 4.7. Everything has been running fine, until this morning - I noticed Subsonic wasn't working, but also noticed my machine had downloaded some updates. So I restarted, but when my computer came up, the Subsonic tray icon was there, but was red. However, when I open the control panel, it said it was running. I have tried uninstalling the update, which was KB2762895. I have also uninstalled all Java related programs, and subsonic, and then reinstalled Java then subsonic. But I am still getting the same results. I have also tried upping the "Memory limit" setting to 512, but this has not worked either. I don't see any errors in subsonic.log. However, when I open the logs it looks like the agent lot tried to start the service three times, and the service log says the following for the last line:
Shutting down database.

I am attaching both logs. Anyone have any ideas? I'm completely out of ideas myself - kind of playing around with the idea of just scrapping this computer and buying a new one at this point (it's a few years old now and I have felt like it's slow). But it would be nice if I could delay that just a little longer.

Oh, I figured it out. The fact that one of those logs stopped after the attempt to open the database clued me in - my database got corrupted. :( Had to start fresh with a new DB - all my ratings gone. :(

This seems to be happening to a lot of people. Is there a simply way to backup the db for if this ever happens to me?

This is the best guide I've seen posted on the topic, for those of you who've decided to go with 4.7. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10338

Hi sorry for this huuuuge up but my problem is the exact same.

Latest version of subsonic (I made a fresh install about a week ago), and every time I do a "hard drive action" like download a podcast, change an album cover or add files from my browser, my server stop responding. I mean, all others services (git, teamspeak etc) are still available, but subsonic won't do anything until I reboot the server.
Even the tray-icon seems to be lost: no status, and start button is no longer responding.
I tried to add more memory or clean-up the db, but nothing changed.

OS: Windows Server 2012 Essential (please don't blame me  ) with latest updates (java included).

Thanks for the help! :)
