setting up subsonic as a web sub directory and forcing ssl

My subsonic server is based on zentyal (ubuntu 12.04) and also acts as a gateway, mail server, etc.

I would like to set up subsonic to be accessed via a subdirectory of the web domain and force ssl at the same time, ie use https://mydomain/subsonic

I have already setup zarafa with forced ssl using this guide: http://www.zarafa.com/wiki/index.php/Securing_Zarafa_WebAccess_with_SSL but subsonic is on its own port ie http://mydonmain:4040

There is also this post http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8525 but it deals with setting up a sub domain rather than a web directory

I have enabled subsonic ssl on port 4141 by altering /etc/default/subsonic to include:
Code: Select all
SUBSONIC_ARGS="--max-memory=2064 --https-port=4141 --context-path=/subsonic"

I wonder of someone would be kind enough to tie these together?

Thanks

Would you share your config file for apache?
You can leave out the specific IP or external domain, but I'm looking for the same issue and cannot get the solution working on my end (even without SSL).

Thanks!
