Hello,

I have subsonic 4.6 installed and working flawlessly and just recently upgraded to a Nokia Lumia running Windows Phone 8.

I may be odd but I actually like the minimalist WAP interface and would like to continue to use it. While I'm able to access http://mysubsonichost:8080/wap from Opera on my desktop, under the UC Browser (full WAP) on my phone, the site - without prompting for a login - returns http error 401 ' Full authentication is required to access this resource'.

Any ideas what the issue could be? Is it because the login is implemented as a popup which is unsupported? Is there a way to pass in the login credentials?

It's been a while since I played with the wap interface as it is no longer widely supported, but the popup is most likely asking for the logon account to the server rather than your Subsonic logon credentials. Try the logon account and password for the server, then it should take you to a logon for SS.

Thanks, but no popup displays to allow me to enter my login info. On access to the page, I get the 401 error...

That means you're not logged onto the host server as a valid user. When I try to log onto my server with the WAP interface I get the Windows logon box to enter my username and password for my account on the server. I don't know why mine does and yours wouldn't.
