Does Subsonic have support for streaming movies/music from a NAS?

As in running Subsonic on a server, and then streaming the actual content from a NAS.

If the server can read the NAS files ok then the answer is yes but beware especially with regard to videos of some performance hits using incompatible file formats eg samba & windows
