Subsonic can't access NAS

Postby pserian » Thu Dec 20, 2012 11:01 pm

-Subsonic Help Request---------------------->
Problem Description: During setup of the media folders, I receive the message "No media folders found. Please change the settings."
Troubleshooting Steps: Went into services.msc and changed the "Log on as" to my windows username instead of "Local Machine" by adding my username, which has admin privileges. Mapped the NAS to a different drive letter. Tried entering the path in subsonic setting in both formats, "Z:\music" and "\\LS-CHL-V20CF\Media\Music". Verified port 4040 is open. Confirmed you don't need a username or password to access the NAS drive from my computer. NAS is a Buffalo Linkstation LS-CHL.
Playback Application and version: Motorola Defy XT running on Android platform.
Subsonic Version: 4.7 (build 3106) – September 12, 2012
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_10, Windows 7 (32.6 MB / 45.7 MB)
Hardware Platform: Windows 7
Java Memory Limit: 150
Problem Filename: Subsonic can't access "Z:\music" or "\\LS-CHL-V20CF\Media\Music"
Output from ffmpeg -i: when i typed in 'ffmpeg -i <Z:\music>' it says "Access is denied"
Last ten log file lines: (The last ten or so lines copied and pasted from the About screen in the Subsonic Web Interface. Ideally these will be in a CODE block as well.) I can't find any code in the "About" screen.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi again, I'm not sure if the staff is on vacation or not, but I'm still struggling with this problem. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks,
Peter
