Alternative Subsonic setup possible

I have an HP N40L with OpenMediaVault an Subsonic server installed, and now using it with streaming audio to my phone. But i've bought an Raspberry Pi and now I am wondering how can I setup the Rasperry Pi as streaming destination and use Subsonic on my phone to use it as an remote for the Raspberry, because default is not possbible. Does anybody have tried this setup?
