SSL Support

I understand that SSL can be used with a Tomcat Install. I downloaded and installed the Windows version and was wondering whether this version supports SSL. I see under Settings->Advanced there is an option for Non-SSL Stream port. Mine is set to 0 so it is disabled. Am I safe to assume that since this option is disabled that all the data is SSL safe?

Hi,

You have to configure Tomcat to use SSL, and access subsonic using https://....

Now, some players (such as Winamp) don't support streaming over SSL, so the option you mention is to allow the music streams to be transmitted un-encrypted.
