Subsonic Forum

Been using Subsonic for a couple months and for the last week I can't get logged in. I donated on 11/9/12 and received a license key at that time. Everything was working great. Now however, whenever I try and login I get the message "wrong username or password". When I try the "forgotten your password" option, it doesn't recognize my email address. I can't get my admin account to work or any secondary accounts that I created. I can't login with the app on my phone either.

I downloaded 4.7 and tried to start fresh but it still takes me to http://localhost/login.view?error and I have the same problems logging in. At this point I would be fine starting fresh but can't figure out how to do it as I can't get logged in.

I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 8. Please let me know if there is any additional information I need to provide.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like the db has got corrupted
If you want to re-install you need to do a clean install - rename or delete c:\subsonic folder (rename if you want to try & recover settings) and then install SS again.
This will put you at ground zero again so use admin/admin to log on.
Check/search the forum for hints on recovering user settings etc from the old db.
