Subsonic Forum

I am trying to get some information regarding subsonic's ability to read folders and files on a mounted ftp drive. Browsing through the forums here and elsewhere I have been able to mount anf FTP directory. Subsonic can see the folder just fine, however it is never able to index any music from the directory.

Any ways, is this at all possible? I don't mind sepnding hours trying to figure it out. I would just like to know if I am trying to accomplish the impossible. Any one with some insight would be greatly appreciated.

using Linux OS
using #curlftpfs -o allow_other... to mount FTP dirve
tried running Subsonic as root as well, same results

1) Use: http://www.netdrive.net/
2) Add the folder under Subsonic settings - Media folders
3) Enjoy!
