Hi all,

I've just tried to install Subsonic latest (4.7) deb through ubuntu software centre and got:

"the package is of bad quality

The installation of a package which violates the quality standards isn't allowed. This could cause serious problems on your computer. Please contact the person or organisation who provided this package file and include the details beneath.
Lintian check results for /home/lsdeep/Downloads/subsonic-4.7.beta2.deb:
E: subsonic: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg
E: subsonic: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object var/subsonic/transcode/lame
E: subsonic: file-in-etc-not-marked-as-conffile etc/init.d/subsonic"

Doing a search of "bad quality" and bits of the error messages reveal others have the same problem ( I was going to add to this http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9708 thread but though it better to start a new one).
This is a fresh install of subsonic onto ubuntu 12.10 which is working fine, & I installed java as per instructions.

Any help greatly appreciated. This looks like brilliant software.
Thanks

Dez
