Occasional site crash.
Posted: Sun Jan 27, 2013 7:53 pmAbout 2 - 3 weeks ago I started noticing that my Subsonic site installed on one of my most stable servers started just not responding every 2 - 3 days. RDC'ing into the server would give no clues in either event viewer in Windows or in the Subsonic log, other than I noticed that the last stall occurred after a nightly scan.
I noticed that Subsonic Control Panel was at 143 MB out of 150 MB so I bumped the Memory limit up to 256 MB to see if that might fix it.
This Subsonic install is running the standard Windows version on WHS v1 and ran for over 2 years without any problems.
Just wondering if anyone else may be seeing similar behavior on any of their systems.
When the site goes down, I log onto the server and can't find any indication that anything is wrong other than not being able to connect through a browser. The tray icon is green and the service is running. Shutting down and restarting the service restores functionality. I'm hoping it's just the old memory limit thing, but wonder if anyone else has run into this issue.
