Trial Period Expired, Paid, now can't access SS

Hi there, I registered for the free trial months ago, it expired, and now I want to donate and get it up and running again...I donated yesterday following the links on the expiration page to paypal, the payment went through, but I cannot access the web version of SS anywhere. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times, I did the same with Java to make sure I was all up to date. Whenever I try to get to the localhost:port the browser brings me to a Directory...when I try to activate the https (port 4443) my browser address bar turns the https red and with a red line through it, and a red x before it. I'm using port 40962 for SS, and I checked the box to use port 4443 too, and both are forwarded correctly and showing up when I go to canyouseeme.org.

I tried to address all of these below items for help...thanks very much! Subsonic was fantastic when it was working!

Problem Description:
Troubleshooting Steps:
Playback Application and version: I'm just using subsonic on my android...not sure if this is what you want or not...
Subsonic Version: (copy/paste from the "About" screen in the Subsonic Web Interface) can't get to web interface
Server Version: (copy/paste from the "About" screen in the Subsonic Web Interface) can't get to web interface
Hardware Platform: (Windows, Mac, Linux, NAS Model, etc... Invclude version if applicable) Windows 32bit
Java Memory Limit: (Windows: found in the Subsonic Agent in the taskbar) 150MB (i think)
Problem Filename: (If you are having difficulty with a particular file, please include it's name)
Output from ffmpeg -i: (If you open a command prompt and type 'ffmpeg -i <filename>' what is the output? Ideally put this in a "code" block)
Last ten log file lines: (The last ten or so lines copied and pasted from the About screen in the Subsonic Web Interface. Ideally these will be in a CODE block as well.)

Have you received your licence info via email from Sindre and entered that into SS?

Yes I received the email as soon as I donated but since I can't access the ss web page I am not able to enter any credentials.

  1. Open up the SS control panel - settings and deselect the https option.
  2. Stop & restart SS
  3. Now try to access SS using the link in the control panel

If you are using https you have allow both ports through firewall & router.
sometimes the https port doesn't get opened in windows firewall so check and add in manually.

Thanks for the help, problems persist though :(

So I unchecked the box for https in the settings, stopped SS, restarted SS and when I clicked on the link in the control panel it brought me to the same web page that reads "Directory" and a there are a few links that go nowhere...

I am using port 4040 for Subsonic. Manually forwarded that port and verified on canyouseeme.org that my ISP is not blocking...Thank you for your help!

Ok when you did a re-install was that a clean re-install eg did you delete your c:\subsonic folder first.
If not then do so.
If that doesn't work and you get the same screen again can you take a screen shot and upload to say photobucket
then post the link here.

Thanks very much. Upon closer inspection I think this may solve the problem, unfortunately I cannot delete all of the files in c:\subsonic remotely, but when I get home tonight I will. I noticed that it looks like a lot of these files have date/time stamp from my first install, so hopefully once I'm able to delete them and do a fresh and clean reinstall this will fix it. I'll report back. Thanks again
