I'm at a point where I can not really afford to pay anything substantial for extra things...

I'd like to donate all I can right now with the intentions of doing a full donation later...
Is this possible?

In fine with losing my domain and not using subsonic for the time being, just wondering if there is any workaround for people like me...

That would probably be possible if it was actually a donation, but you are really buying the features, not donating no matter what he wants to call it. You can of course run one of the builds that has the license logic removed from it and then donate later when you have the money for it.
