Playback stops once song file completely loads

I'm on Subsonic 4.7 build 3106 and this is a new problem. Like the subject header says, I can hit play on a song in my playlist and it starts playing, but once the file completely loads playback stops. I've seen posts elsewhere that say the answer is to either downgrade to version 4.6 or to turn song caching on in the server settings. I'd like to avoid downgrading if possible but I can't seem to find anywhere in settings to turn on song caching. Anyone have any ideas?

On a side note, as this is my first post here, I feel compelled to say that Subsonic is in my top 5 favorite programs of all time...I don't know what I did before it came along!
