Hello.
First let me thank Sindre for the great software he is making. Good work!
Now to my question:
I use Subsonic on my Kubuntu 8.04 machine. Everything is ok, I think my problem has more to do with linux scripting or running applications.
I use stand-alone instalation of SS. If I run SS from command line everything is ok. But I would like to run SS at boot time. I thought of running the startup script in /etc/init.d/ directory.
I started with trying to run SS in background. But if I try to run subsonic.sh with & at the end (to run it in background) it stops. It is shown in "ps" listing as process with "T" and the SS server is not responding.
Anybody has an idea how to run it in the background? I don't want to mess with Tomcat server.
Thanks.
Igor
