Problem with podcast feed

I tried adding a feed, and the downloads kept getting cut short (list says it was a hour + long podcast, but after a complete download, it was only about 4 minutes etc). So I deleted the feed, but if I click Podcasts under the Shortcuts bar on the left, it still shows the podcast listing (although nothing is in it when I click on it). How can I remove this? If it matters, everytime I load my subsonic server in the browser, I get a popup that just has the title "The site says:" and the message is simply "Error".

To get rid of the "error" popup restart the subsonic service and then force reload (ctrl-f5 on windows) the subsonic page on the client.

Have you checked the offending files with an mp3 validator to see if maybe the header has an incorrect length?

Restarting the server cleared up the error. Odd though as I could have sworn I tried that already, or at least rebooted the machine before. But thats gone now.

I do remember seeing errors in the log initially about headers being wrong, but I've moved past as I do not want that particular feed anymore, and removed it from the Podcast lists. If I keep the Podcast shortcut active on the left and use that shortcut though, you can see the deleted feed (Start Talk Radio) as seen in this image:

But if I go to Podcasts from the top button, you can see I have removed it. So I am trying to find out how to get it removed from the Shortcut menu

Delete it from settings->General->Shortcuts. Or delete the podcast files from the podcast directory on the server.

WTH, I did actually delete the directory from the folder a few days ago, but never looked again to see the empty folder was still there... Deleted it, again, and now it is gone from the shortcuts. Thanks again for your help, I cannot believe my two issues were solved so easily.

Sometimes it just takes a second set of eyes (or brain synapses).

Glad to help,
