Hello,

I have recently added a bulk of albums to my collection. Subsonic picked up on them no problem and the ones that didnt already have album art I wrnt ahead and used the handy album art downloader sunsonic provides. It works like a charm.
However, depending on the album the albumart does not seem to appear. Here are some various scenarios I have observed.

The album art is added,
- it appears in the lightbox but the thumbnail on the album page and on the home random selection page are still default (no art).
- it appears in the lightbox and on the album page but the home page random selection is still default.
- The album art appears ok on all three of the above. This happens very rarely and usually takes a few days.

subsonic is set to scan the folders every night at 3:00am so that is happening however it is not making any difference as far as getting the album art to appear.
As I mentioned about "sometimes" it does work and the album art appears fine after a few days, randomly, does this mean that there is some kind of caching system inside subsonic I do not know about? If so how do I refresh it?

The aim would be so when I add an album and choose its art I can manually refresh subsonic so it appears on ALL aspects of the application.


I have tried as I mentioned a full scan, and the clean database option both without any luck.

Any help would be appreciated as I have been trying to get this working for a few weeks now.

Hi Chris,

Don't know if this will help you, but I´m using Chrome and have to clear the cache ( Ctrl+Shift+Delete ) to be able to see recent added album arts.
