How to disable auto-resize cover art

I'm trying to index some videos and would like to ad the poster art for them. However, when they are imported into subsonic they are automatically squared, which is great for music, but not for rectangular images. I wondering where this is in the code (I can't seem to find it, don't know much about Java) so I can play around with it. Strangely enough, I did import one image and it failed to square it and kept the original proportions, but I think its a glitch because it also removed or covered up the change/zoom links normally displayed under the image.
Any help is appreciated!
