Hi all,

I hope I am in the right section. Otherwise please feel free to move this topic.

I am running subsonic on an ubuntu10 linux server. I denied downloading my music on the webinterface but I am still struggling with the mobile apps.

My question is:
Is it possible to block these apps?
or is it possible to trancscode these files also to a minimum bitrate?

Cheers,
Pero

No.

There is a maximum bitrate setting per user. There is also a maximum bitrate setting for each player.

Thank you very much bushman4 for you answer.

So the bitrate setting is globally (webinterface and app)?
I checked the (cached) download file and it has the full quality (360kbit instead of 64kbits).

Thank you again.

It should be...

Did you try limiting the bitrate on the player?
