Hi All,

I currently run Subsonic 4.7 on Windows 7, and I use the Windows 7 box as a my Subsonic server (no one actually logs on to the box, all music is played over wireless/internet)

To make Subsonic start, I have to use an autologin script so Windows can auto login and allow the Subsonic service to start. I am moving this server to a Windows 2008 box, and do not wish to continue along this auto login route, and wanted to know if it is possible to get the Subsonic service to start without a user login, after all, its a service so it should start with out any logins, I know the service will start but the server try will not.

So, is this possible?

Best Regards,
Alan.

Why doesn't the service start on its own without the auto-login script? Is it set to "Automatic?"

It sure should... it does on every one of my windows boxen.

It is set to automatic, but until you login to windows, that server tray doesn't run (which seems to start the service) and so you can use Subsonic.
