No media is found when scanning.

My directory setup is Directory/Artist/Album/Songs

If in settings I add media folder Directory nothing is found, however if I add media folder Directory/Artist, then all media for specific artist is found. Any thoughts?

Subsonic version - 4.7 (build 3105) – September 11, 2012
Server version - jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_27, Linux (15.7 MB / 28.7 MB)
OS - Debian
Java memory limit - 100M? I think

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Same here... it seems to have worked until recently. Now it just seems to ignore all files, except if I add a media folder to the directory itself...

Aha. In my case, it was resolved by removing the files that were in the directory itself (not in subdirs).

This thread here pointed me in that direction: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11778

The media files are on a usb drive that was formatted as vfat. I reformatted hard drive as ext4 and scan found all my files. I had read the thread about files outside of folders but all my files are in their artist/album directories. Don't know why it should matter whether it was vfat or ext4, but it works now. As far as shrekgestalts issue, I saw a thread about clearing out your cache and trying a rescan for that issue. Try it out, hope it helps.
