Error 1001: Connectingto Server via iSubMS/iPhone4

I've gone through the documentation and various recommended docs for setting up port-forwarding, etc. but still get error 1001 trying to connect to my server via iSubMS on iPhone4.

Automatically Configure your router.... status is
Status: Successfully forwarding port 4040.

Access your server over the internet... status is
Status: MyServerName.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)

I can use MyServerName.subsonic.org locally to access my server but not from iSubMS. I think I'm REAL close to getting this to work. Thanks for helping me get over the top on this!

External attempts do indicate that the url for MyServerName.subsonic.org
is indeed the external IP of my router with port 4040 appended.

Does "Status: Successfully forwarding port 4040" actually mean the router is forwarding the traffic as desired? I'm guessing not.

I've set up forwarding manually and whether or not I have that option in Network Settings checked doesn't seem to affect the behavior when trying to connect externally.

I am also noticing the same problem. Here is what I observed.

1) My Subsonic setup has not changed.
2) The subsonic address redirects without issue to the proper IP address and port when I use and internal PC.
3) The subsonic address redirects without issue to the proper IP address and port when I use an external network PC.
4) When I use the iPhone/iSUB application through 3G connection with my subsonic address I get an error that there is no connection.
5) When I use the iSub application with my hardcoded IP it works fine.

I think there is a problem with for redirect from mobile devices. For some reason I think that when traffic coming from mobile phone hits the subsonic DNS it wont allow it, but will from none mobile devices.

This happened very recently. So something was changed....

It appears that disabling Windows7 firewall helped in my situation. However, I think I'm seeing a routing issue because I cannot access my Subsonic server from my iphone while it is on the SAME wireless network as the server, If I hop onto my neighbor's Wifi or go 3G - works like a charm!

This really is a pretty cool server/application!
