The JukeBox mode mutes the rest of the computer

Hi there!

I'm using subsonic mostly on Jukebox mode, so I can control it from my phone, but I'm encountering problems when playing music back on the computer hosting subsonic service. Basically, as soon as I use the jukebox mode, my sound system seems to get muted by the subsonic service and doesn't play any sound (youtube, i.e.).
To solve it, I have to manually stop the subsonic service, and then all the sound "being played" (youtube, i.e.) works fine, but obviously, then I have no subsonic!

I've searched a bit on the forum and found some people having problems with the jukebox mode but not exactly this one. Anyone could give me a hint on how to solve this?
I'm using kubuntu 12.10.
