Using A Subsonic.org Address With A VPN

I was wondering if anyone is running Subsonic and a VPN service like Private Internet Access. I am running Subsonic/MusicCabinet on Ubuntu 12.10 and have been wanting to start using a VPN, but I do not know if there will be problems with my Subsonic.org address pointing to the correct IP address. Is the Subsonic.org DNS hosting service able to automatically resolve to the VPN IP address as opposed to the ISP generated IP address? I would love to know if anyone has had experience with this...
